I can't agree with this. One of the reasons that these attacks have historically worked is because the natural instinct is to do quite the opposite. And the left (and most of the dominant culture) gives that instinct a voice and a means. The natural instinct is to hide, to make oneself (or one's country/locale) less of a target, and to seek out "moderates" -- those who maintain the appearance of being reasonable and less violent -- that can act as advocates and allies of convenience.

Sure, there may be isolated incidents. But the general pattern will be one of a cringing kind of capitulation, barring a significant cultural change in this country.

At some point in the future, Islam (not radical Islam, because redundancies are redundant) will figure out that they only really need to do two more things to bring their violent assault on civilization to the next level. One, is that they will apply their infrastructure to making it such that attackers are not expected to be suicidal (in other words, apply all of the shadows in which they lurk to make sure that perpetrators of larger scale attacks can escape into safe countries -- safe from their vantage point). And two, have information posted prior to smaller-scale attacks, such that the left cannot hide behind ambiguity ("this was not Islam, it was just a random attack by a sick individual"). These two things will greatly expand the pool of potential terrorists for larger operations, and the increased visibility of the continual small-scale assaults will further the urge to "make it all go away" by the least painful and sacrificial option.

Do those two things, combined with the continual pressure applied by invasions disguised as immigration or refugee flight, and the civilized world is in real trouble. Attacks will become even more commonplace, and the natural instinct to capitulate will gain full control over both policy and culture.
