Analysis - America's black president and its white supremacy: Neil Macdonald
CBC News Website ^ | Oct 05, 2016 5:00 AM ET| | By Neil Macdonald

Mention white supremacy in America the next time the conversation turns to the U.S. presidential election, and watch what happens.

Heads avert, a few eyes roll, and the conversation resumes, unruffled, after a few polite smiles.

The phrase is regarded as extreme — a gross exaggeration of problems America has, after all, tried to solve.

Why, the president of the United States himself is black, and he never uses terms like white supremacy.

Which is interesting in itself, because it goes to show the extent to which the American polity is gamed for white ascendancy.

Even a black leader cannot mention systemic discrimination against black Americans without nodding sympathetically to the grievances of white Americans, many of whom believe they are the victims in a politically correct world that values "diversity" over (their) merit...

...So it takes guts to unblinkingly use the phrase white supremacy, the way the new generation of black activists, and prominent black academics, are routinely doing....

A flawed analysis from a Canadian liberal who believes racism is exclusively an 'American' Problem. Apparently, deep down inside you are all 'White Supremacist'.

Thankfully (and if you watch or read enough CBC trash you will figure this out) we don't have any race problems in Canada except for our prejudice against indigenous people, which they write about ad nauseam.

BTW - Another CBC story with no commenting allowed... What the CBC fails to realize is that forums like 'Free Republic' makes that impossible.

I posted this on another thread, but I think it’s appropriate here:

IMHO, there’s a very important point here that needs to be voiced, and probably should be part of the Trump campaign.

Recently Obama said that the reason he doesn’t like to use the term ‘Islamic terrorism’ is because he doesn’t want to offend or misrepresent the large majority of Muslims who are peaceful and good people. In every instance Obama, and often the media, and many Republicans (including Bush) have taken great pains to avoid ‘coloring all Muslims with a broad brush just because some are terrorists’. They’ve emphasized over and over how the radicals and terrorists, and now specifically ISIS are not representative of Islam.

Obama, Hillary, race-baiters like Sharpton, and much of the media do not, however, follow that line of reasoning when it comes to race, law enforcement, or gender.

For them, when a police officer shoots a black man it’s not just about that particular police officer or that particular incident - it becomes about ‘ALL’ police and the ‘widespread’ racism in police work (i.e. ‘painting them all with a broad brush’).

When the issue of race comes up in other contexts, rather than saying that the majority of Caucasians are not prejudiced, and that we’ve made leaps and bounds in society, and that it would be wrong to indict a whole race (i.e. whites) as ‘privileged’ and ‘racist’, they (including Hillary and Obama) ‘paint with a broad brush’ and infer that there is deeply ingrained white prejudice and ‘white privilege’.

When it comes to gender, there are those who paint with an equally broad brush to indict men (e.g. ‘all men are potential rapists’, men are intrinsically sexist etc.).

You can’t have it both ways, but they are being allowed to - and this needs to be pointed out - in a measured and judicious way that asks for unity rather than the divisiveness that has become the hallmark of the politics of the left.

Yea, Aboriginals in Manitoba don’t notice any white supremacy . . .

I had the misfortune of hearing Neil Macdonald speak during a debate at Roy Thompson Hall in Toronto. He is as corrupt and as clueless in person as he is on TV.

Apparently they will not be happy until the overwhelming majority is in submission to a small minority.

Whites aren't superior because they are white. Whites embrace a superior culture based on Christian values, which raised them to the societal positions that many enjoy. Those whites who do not are relegated to lesser tiers, but are associated to superior cultural traits because the left racially profile them.

The beauty is that anyone regardless of race can embrace the same values and free themselves from the leftist slave plantation.

So someone came up with a cute headline and then they had to write an article to fit it. The truth is closer to the half-white president and black supremacy.

“White supremacy” is the official policy of the liberal Democrats, who have instituted laws to ensure that merit is ignored so blacks, Hispanics, and women can pretend they are “equal” to white and Asian men. White supremacy is the last defense of people who truly believe they are inferior.

In the workplace I see these preferred minorities are the least likely to leave; other employers know they are toxic and generally less productive than workers who can’t hide behind race or gender. The white and Asian men move on when they are able because they are tired of watching unqualified token supervisors get credit, money, and promotions for their work. The tokens simply hire more tokens because they don’t risk having them usurp their positions; they all just “play work” while socializing.

The author completely overlooks the fact that “black culture” in the U.S. is highly dysfunctional and simply has no place in a civilized society — regardless of whether that society is dominated by whites, Asians, or even blacks.

If we (whites) are all supremacists at heart, what are blacks? Victims? Bums? Exploiters? Does this cretin really think that if whites were the intolerant bigots he proclaims them to be (from his imaginary seat of authority), that they would put up with the predations and parasitism blacks have demonstrated unrelentingly for the last half a century?

A truly “supremacist” white world would simply eradicate the black scourge and be done with it. Instead, they ELECT it.

So go peddle that racist crap somewhere else. It won’t play in Peoria but it might fly in Ferguson.

Maybe Neil has a point. White supremacy implies a fait accompli, an end point reached, an established achievement. But it’s obvious from all the black kvetching and reverse discrimination going on, that white accomplishemnt does not rest on some unreachable shelf.

Maybe what we have should be called white superiority, a built-in genetic factor, a plug-in like dark matter that is used explain why, if we are all equal, some of us are empirically more competent than others.

Or maybe not.
