(Off topic) I used to work with a gal for whom part of her responsibility was to set telephone appointments with existing clients in various states throughout the US. She NEVER could figure out the time zones and then when you threw in whether it was Daylight or Standard, she just about went nuts. It was frustrating to hear her trying to set a time with the clients.... (Sometimes I helped her.)

Good question. I don’t know for sure. This was approximately 2001, IIRC.

Not defending her but it can be complicated when working with regions that do not practice daylight saving time. My sister lives in AZ and we use the Las Vegas airport and we always have to check and double check when we are making plans near the time changes. Nevada adjusts and Arizona does not.
