Duterte is insanely against drugs because they destroy the minds and lives of his people, especially young people and he knows (like we in America SHOULD know) that a mindless child grows up to be a mindless adult and THAT kind of adult is useless in developing a nation.

A lot of people think it’s impossible to get rid of drugs. It isn’t. It’s actually pretty easy to get rid of drugs. It just isn’t pretty.
At some point, it becomes a time of choosing. Society either legalizes these things, or decides to eliminate all of the people involved in the trade. The US seems to be choosing option #1. The Philippines are choosing option #2.
I think they are smarter than us.
