People should pay out-of-pocket for checkups and routine care. For moderate care, they should have a HSA to pay. For catastrophic and emergency healthcare, the HSA can pay the deductible while the patient pays a low monthly premium for the catastrophic insurance. Also the HSA can be structured to pay for nursing or assisted living care and healthcare costs when the patient turns older.

If everyone did this, it would save billions of dollars in healthcare costs. There would be no need for Medicaid or Medicare. Employers would no longer need to provide for healthcare coverage.

Every American should have their own personal, private healthcare account.

You can't do that! It would mean that every American would have to have their own personal, private stream of money! Can't have that! What would the welfare queens and snowflakes do? You meanie you.

Even when substantially more than half need welfare as their only source of income??

Where (and how) does the money fairy enter the picture?
