House Speaker Paul D. Ryan is poised to launch a frantic cross-country tour over the final five-week stretch before Election Day aimed at saving the GOPs congressional majority.
The Wisconsin Republican will hit 17 states and 42 cities from several corners of the nation, from Texas to Florida to New York, while raising money and stumping for more than a dozen House and Senate candidates, according to his political advisers.
Unlike most of the speakers previous political travel which focused on closed-door fundraisers Ryans appearances will include many public events with Republicans who are facing difficult reelection prospects.

He makes his rounds to find out who is on board with the establishment, attack Trump, push a Globalist agenda and more. All paid for by the RNC.

I think if I were him, I’d stay home. He will not benefit the GOP. He’s one of the reasons Congress’s spineless Republican members are so thoroughly despised.

Tnis is just Amnesty Ryan’s excuse for not campaigning with Trump. The House is safe and if has as much responsibility to a GOP Senate as a GOP White House.

Yes, Trump will help the lower tickets.
But McConnell and Ryan (and the Wash Post even more) don’t want ANYTHING positive to come up.
Hence the headline.

His pleas have been the reason I have only donated directly to the Trump campaign and not to the RNC or any other "Republican" entity. I hope my reticence isn't a factor in anyhting bad happening to our control of the Congress but they haven't shown us that they are willing to exert that control so it probably makes little difference. Then again, if Trump ends up in the WH, I imagine he will use the Bully Pulpit to force them to either defecate or get off the pot.
Torn at this time....
