Awkward: Sanders-Clinton joint appearance cancelled in wake of Hillary insulting Sanders supporters

Awkward: Sanders-Clinton joint appearance cancelled in wake of Hillary insulting Sanders supporters as basement dwellers ( Full title ).

Democrats are scrambling to paper over the rift in their party between the Clinton faction, bought off by globalist crony capitalists, and the Sanders-supporting, debt-ridden, lumpen college graduates who want free stuff. Among her wealthy peers at a fundraiser, Hillary Clinton condescended to the basement-dwelling unfortunates who have mortgaged their futures in return for a college degree providing no useful skills valued in the marketplace.

Sanders, basking in the newfound, post-campaign fame and wealth (he just bought his third house for more money than his reported net worth on Senate disclosure forms), has done an awkward shuffle. He recognizes that the Clintons have all the power in the Democratic Party, for they just kicked his butt despite obvious enthusiasm and support.

...

So rather than sort it out onstage in a joint appearance, they are hoping their friends in the media will ignore the story and it will fade from the memories.

Is it a “rift?” or lack of response to admission tickets? She can’t even fill up a basketball gym.

Er...no. She’s looking for any half backed excuse to avoid appearing anywhere before the election.

"Sanders, basking in the newfound, post-campaign fame and wealth (he just bought his third house for more money than his reported net worth on Senate disclosure forms)"

I know this has been widely report on FR but It can't be emphasized enough. Socialists are always for redistributing the wealth of others and never their own. Just as they are always for love, tolerance and charity in the abstract but you never see it being practiced in their own lives. They will protest for it and organize for it and hold events for it but you almost never see them practice it.

William Mc.Kinley ran a “Front Porch” campaign where supporters traveled to Ohio to see him campaign on his front porch of his house. Hillary is running a “smoke filled” back room campaign so no one can see her and her minions try and rig the election.

If these people are truly part of the ‘something for nothing’ crowd, they’ll still hold their nose and vote Dem.

On the other hand, those who belong to the ‘gimmedat’ group will also vote Dem no matter what.

A story about nothing.

The Sanders supporters took stock of themselves, looked around their moms’ basement and decided to accept Hillary’s evaluation.

It really is sad and pathetic to see Bernie Sanders abandon all his principles to support the Crooked One and the corrupt establishment he railed against during the primaries.

If Jeb Bush managed to win the nomination (as many here thought he would), can anybody imagine Donald Trump sheepishly hanging his head and showing up at Jeb rallies? Can anybody picture a rumpled and defeated Donald Trump shambling up to the stage to tell us all that we now need to get behind Jeb Bush?

For a while there, we thought Bernie was actually sparking something revolutionary. But he turned out to be such a disappointment and an establishment tool.

A corrupt socialist promoter, who enjoys the benefits that serving in government positions has afforded him that he could not have amass in the private sector where he was a total failure. Why people reward these types is beyond my ability to comprehend. Had he been in a fair fight, he might have even be closing in on the most powerful position in the world.

What a strange society we have become.

The main difference between her smoke-filled back room and those of the old days is that the smoke comes from marijuana and not tobacco.

He is a true believer of communism. Grassroots advocates are necessarily weak (hence their fondness for receiving handouts). Thing is, communism requires iron-fisted selfish leadership to compel & confiscate productivity. Hence Bernie getting popular support but run over by Hillary.

I read that Bernie, dutiful lackey that he is, came out yesterday and said Clinton was absolutely on target with her comments about his supporters. So there shouldn’t be any dissension between them at all.

Sanders, (he just bought his third house for more money than his reported net worth on Senate disclosure forms)
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Right after he endorsed Hillary he bought a $600,000 summer home. WHERE DID HE GET THE MONEY? I’m certain he paid for that house with the money the Clinton Campaign paid him to endorse her candidacy, keep his mouth shut and be a good little Socialist.

Perhaps it was he had none to begin with? That would be my view.

Since Bernie was such a "charity" case and didn't have any money, the funds more than likely came from the Continuing Clinton Criminal Enterprise (CCCE) as a charity donation.

Bernie's payoff was just a drop in the bucket for the CCCE. They only fork over 5-6% of their take for charity anyway and keep the rest for "Other", or in plain English, themselves.

Yeah, I was also wondering if that's the real reason for the cancellation. (Feeling a bit under the weather, Hillary?)
