Iran and as we know, General Soleimani helped kill Americans in Iraq.

It is historic fact, that the Bush admin. almost expanded the war into Syria because the Assad regime allowed Jihadis to have camps in Syria and plan attacks from there. Syria harbored Saddam’s brother and gave him up; this is historic fact.

So, the Assads themselves are pretty bad, the Assad dynasty most likely helped bomb the Marine barracks in Beirut back in ‘82 (?); and the Lebanese civil war is another matter as well.

I’m certainly not fooled by how bad the Damascus government is; and ISIS are just idiots who film their deeds, a lot of those folks over there do dirty garbage, we know that.

Its good for the defense industry...I heard El Rushbo with his own voice speak of Boeing getting to do business with sanctions lifted on Iran.

And the rest of it you can read online....heck Boeing did a big deal with El Al for aircraft after getting to do business with Iran again.

How does that jibe.

The foreign policy elites did business with Chinese Communists as leverage against Soviet ones in the 1970’s to play them off against each other.

There were ‘good Communists’ and ‘bad Communists’ back then with Nixon vising Romania to embrace the murderous Ceaucescu.

American companies did business with the Soviets and Chinese in that era.

A similar play underway by the foreign policy elite playing Shia and Sunni off against each other and doing business with both in our time?

In Syria it has certainly been decided by Republicans and Democrats that there are “good terrorists” to support and “bad terrorists” not to support.

That’s how the Uniparty plays their game. They’ve been at it since even before the end of WWII. We’ll all pay for their abandonment of the Constitution, to be sure.

You have quite a mouth, always acting like you are saving the world from Russia, Iran, and whoever you think of that day

That day? I'm warning about your boy KGB Putin practically 24/7, with a mountain of FACTS to back me up. So you can stick it up your Putin-loving rear end.

Not even close. In Saudi Arabia, there isn’t a single Christian Church. Not one. No Synagogue. At least in Iran you can have those an openly be one.
And before the sunni war started in Syria, Syrian Christians were just fine. Alone with many Christian shrines like Church of Noah...like many monastaries.

Sunni is evil, and we pretend they are friends.

Things are that way thanks to the support of other Islamic countries, Iran among them. They can’t have any such structures in the land of Mahomet.

If that’s the sole criterion on which to base how hawkish an Islamic regime is, then one must question just how Christian one is. I oppose all of the above and do not fall for the “but Sunni, but Shia” Democratic talking points.

Rangel was awarded a Bronze Star for combat in Korea.

Yeah, you dope, and decades later he's in bed with the North Korea-supporting WWP (Workers World Party). He used to speak from the podium at their front group rallies. Front groups like Troops Out Now. I doubt they're still around. This was nearly 10 years ago, although I'm sure he's still doing similar stuff.

“This sounds like nothing more than a stupid rationalization for the U.S. to topple the Iranian-backed Assad regime in Syria.”
BINGO! The U.S. Government supports the Sunni Jihadis in their war against Assad because Assad had cordial relations with Iran. The plan was to take out Syria before attacking Iran. Putin threw a real Monkey Wrench into that scenario. But, the “Masters of the Universe” in D.C. are willing risk WW 3 in order to get what they want.

Can’t get more pro-Obama than what you just posted. Giving Iran nukes will avert WW3, really? How about paying ransom to them so they’ll release Americans, how’s that working out? Have they stopped harassing our naval vessels yet?

#28. Re knowing whether Iran will nuke other countries (if they get nukes).

Iran WILL nuke Israel when it feels that:
1. Their air defense systems (mainly modern Soviet/Russian ones) are enough to stop any Israeli aerial counterattack (i.e. by planes and even some missiles).

2. They have the full support of Putin to do so (Putin wants to dominate by intimidation much of the Baltic and Eastern Europe, as well as having a SIGNIFICANT and probably nuclear military presence in the Middle East, using Syria as its base of operations and possibly even northern Iran).

3. The US, under President Clinton, WILL NOT PROTECT ISRAEL despite all the nice words the Democrats put out, esp. with a traitor and fool like John Kerry as Secretary of State, Ashton Carter as Secy of Defense, many of the present leaders of the Disjointed Chiefs of Staff. They will send condolence cards to the survivors in Israel.

4. Our nuclear counterforces are deteriorating and Carter says they will improve by the year 2030. That’s not very reassuring.

5. Do you think a Clinton presidency and possibly Democratic Senate will want to go after Iran? After all, they’ve done their best to make sure the US CANNOT do anything significant short of all-out war.

6. And the winner in the Pacific is Red China who is beating the crap out of us in terms of sheer equipment dominance (boats, missiles, planes, and men) as well as winning the INTIMIDATION GAME without us doing much about it. Again, Secy of the Queen’s Navy Mabus is significantly to blame for this. Put women on submarines but keep us at a 200 ship Navy in a 600 ship need world. I miss former SecNav John Lehman. He had guts and built up our Navy to the strongest it had been in decades (thanks to Carter and his cowards).

7. ISIS is a definite threat to the US but Iran has ICBM’s that can take out all of Europe, the Middle East, parts of Asia, and possibly even reach the US (or at least our fleets at sea - One Nuke blast can sink a fleet).

8. Iran is run by the most diabolical, pathological, and religiously fanatic bunch of Psychopaths presently in a position of strength IN THE WORLD. Putin is no fool. Neither are the Red Chinese.

Religious psychopaths are the most dangerous because they believe in the coming Armageddon and look forward to it.
The Russians, Red Chinese and even ISIS want to have something to rule over, not just an ash heap of cities.

Only the No. Koreans are as pathologically insane as the Mad Mullahs of Iran, and we have let them get away with their nuclear build up to. Thanks Clintons and Obama.

The future does not look very good for the Western World unless we get a leader who will stand up and say, “NO MORE. We’re not going to take this crap, and then do something about it, hopefully short of all-out war, but if necessary, to level Iran’s key nuclear and military facilities into soccer fields.

I worked in Saudi Arabia for two years and you’re entirely right. No churches. And they will arrest those who try to worship clandestinely. Assad is no saint but he protected his Christians from the Wahhabi fanatics.

Thanks for the write-up and time involved in doing so;

I’m not endorsing everything Pat Buchanan says in this article; but what if someone said to you as the article reads, “Well, Netanyahu has visited Moscow 3 times in the last year and Putin has gone to Israel once.”

Source: http://buchanan.org/blog/bibi-backs-trump-putin-125707

So, Iran and Russia have an alliance; that can be seen; but Bibi is no fool either; 3 times is quite a few times.

Israel also would not condemn Russia on some sort of UN action condemning Russia’s actions in Ukraine. I think the article says that too.

I only bring up that article for the info in it.

The “but Saudi” defense is a false dilemma. Why the knee-jerk defense of Iran by bringing up Saudi Arabia? I’m against all of the above.

Stop falling for the Uniparty propaganda, and above all, stop defending Obama’s actions by proxy (he supports Iran, ISIS, the Muslim Brotherhood and their proxies, and every last one of them, remember).

And as far as the former Israeli defense minister goes, calling ISIS less of a danger than Iran is not saying ISIS is not a danger. There is more of an alliance between Iran and ISIS than meets the eye, furthermore.

#60. I would say that ETL and family have done more to help defend America than you will ever know. Let’s leave it at that.

And for some reason, I don’t remember seeing your sorry ass in Nam or Cambodia and my son doesn’t remember seeing you in Iraq.

If you served, fine. So did John Kerry who then sold out his country in more ways than you’ll ever know (PRG/NVA in Paris, 2-3 times; VVAW - only bailed with the real Reds of the Rev. Communist Party started their takeover of it; La Penca bombing hoax; helped the Sandinistas and the Communist Party of El Salvador by protecting their front, CISPES, and now the Iran deals with their secret Munich-style agreements).

Did you know that Desert Rhinos are basically extinct, like the Dodo Bird? Just something to chew on.
