Trump to Obama: Do Not Pardon Hillary Clinton "Or Her Co-Conspirators"
Real Clear Politics ^ | September 30th, 2016 | By Tim Hains

At a campaign rally in Novi, Michigan Friday evening, Donald Trump asked President Barack Obama not to "pardon Clinton and her co-conspirators" if any charges were filed related to the email scandal.

"Mr. President," Trump said. "Will you pledge not to issue a pardon to Hillary Clinton and her co-conspirators for their many crimes against our country, and against society itself. No one is above the law."

DONALD TRUMP: If she gets the chance, she will put the Oval Office up for sale, like she always does.

Remember folks, she's been doing this for 30 years. She deleted and bleached 33,000 emails after a Congressional subpoena. You can't do that!

Trump “went there” on two big issues today. This one - the Hillary Pardon, and Vote Fraud.

Not an accident, either of them.

Anyone still remember what a wuss Romney was?

Obama has to pardon her, or President Trump will make sure she is brought to trial. Bank on it, if Trump wins, Obama will bail her out and her minions too. I’m sure there’s an understanding.

Ford pardoned Nixon without any charges being levied against him. Here is the text of the pardon:

61 - Proclamation 4311 - Granting Pardon to Richard Nixon September 8, 1974

Richard Nixon became the thirty-seventh President of the United States on January 20, 1969 and was reelected in 1972 for a second term by the electors of forty-nine of the fifty states. His term in office continued until his resignation on August 9, 1974.

Pursuant to resolutions of the House of Representatives, its Committee on the Judiciary conducted an inquiry and investigation on the impeachment of the President extending over more than eight months. The hearings of the Committee and its deliberations, which received wide national publicity over television, radio, and in printed media, resulted in votes adverse to Richard Nixon on recommended Articles of Impeachment.

As a result of certain acts or omissions occurring before his resignation from the Office of President, Richard Nixon has become liable to possible indictment and trial for offenses against the United States. Whether or not he shall be so prosecuted depends on findings of the appropriate grand jury and on the discretion of the authorized prosecutor. Should an indictment ensue, the accused shall then be entitled to a fair trial by an impartial jury, as guaranteed to every individual by the Constitution.

It is believed that a trial of Richard Nixon, if it became necessary, could not fairly begin until a year or more has elapsed. In the meantime, the tranquility to which this nation has been restored by the events of recent weeks could be irreparably lost by the prospects of bringing to trial a former President of the United States. The prospects of such trial will cause prolonged and divisive debate over the propriety of exposing to further punishment and degradation a man who has already paid the unprecedented penalty of relinquishing the highest elective office of the United States.

Now, Therefore, I, Gerald R. Ford, President of the United States, pursuant to the pardon power conferred upon me by Article II, Section 2, of the Constitution, have granted and by these presents do grant a full, free, and absolute pardon unto Richard Nixon for all offenses against the United States which he, Richard Nixon, has committed or may have committed or taken part in during the period from January 20, 1969 through August 9, 1974.

In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand this eighth day of September, in the year of our Lord nineteen hundred and seventy-four, and of the Independence of the United States of America the one hundred and ninety-ninth.

Of course, we know Obama won't even respond to this. I like it as a tactic though. It puts Obama and the dems in a kind of "when did you stop beating your wife" box. They lose no matter how they respond (which they won't), and if they don't respond it just enables Trump, unchallenged, to keep beating the drum that Hillary and her cohorts are criminals.

This is the kind of hardball that no Republican prior to Trump was willing to play. It's about time!

When Trump wins, they’ll have to prosecute, convict and pardon. Otherwise, they’ll do time...they won’t let them do time. That would send the message that they don’t want to send.

The reason Nixon was never indicted was because there was nothing to indict him on- the charges were bogus like the Scooter Libby affair.

The Democrats fumed that Ford did not have the authority to grant a preemptive pardon and continued to pursue a Nixon witch hunt but they never found any evidence and never really formulated exactly what Nixon did that was criminal.

The reason Nixon resigned was because he had lost the confidence of the American people and could therefore no longer lead the country

Trump must be certain that he will be the next POTUS. I hope he is right or Hillary will have a vendetta against him.

Because Obama is an Ahole, would do it out of spite and would do it just to thumb his nose at our law and order.
