I’ve watched the first two and I’ll keep recording them ... for now.

24 was a lot of fun at times and Kiefer Sutherland is a decent actor. The “main” plot has potential and I want to see where it goes. But I can also see where this one can jump the shark rather quickly.

So far I’ve been interested in their attention to the Constitution. Such a catastrophic attack would open up a whole can of Constitutional issues that would not be easy to decide. The issue of states rights has already been breached, so the Constitution is my key to whether I watch the whole season or if this one goes the way of “Fear The Walking Dead” into digital hell.

Too bad nobody spun up a thread for “The Last Ship.” I love spending time aboard the Nathan James!

I watch The Last Ship mostly out of habit. The first season or two was great, but they’ll never get me to swallow the need for an ascendant federal government run by Fat Albert at the expense of sovereign states competing with each other.

I bailed on The Last Ship with the gay crap in the pilot. A woman was worried about her wife out in the world. I don’t put up with that.
