As to the TV show, I was talking back to the TV screen over the portrayal of the governor who was defending his citizens against further attack. Bigot, my ass.
I’ll continue watching the show for now, with my BS filter set to “leftwing script.”
How could a true conservative ever agree to serve as HUD secretary? To my thinking it would be as far out as having a libertarian run the IRS.
The conservative viewpoint on HUD is that it should not exist.

All of the HUD Secretaries have been total jokes (including Jack Kemp imho).
There was one really cool FHA Commissioner, Catherine Austin Fitts.
She found out where all the missing money went—and then they kicked her out of DC in a hurry!
