It was apparent by the second episode with the evil white Governor of Michigan rounding up Muslims in Dearborn and Obama-lover (literally) Kal Penn playing the ‘brilliant young speechwriter’ accosted by DC police over racist profiling of potential Muslim terrorism. Vomit.
They also made mention of JFK sending in the national guard against racist Henry Wallace to force integration...no mention of Eisenhower or Faubus.
I tuned out about 20 minutes into the second episode. Liberal wishful thinking and generally bad writing. I doubt this show will last more than one season.
On the other hand, if Trump is elected, maybe this show will become the West Wing for liberals in mourning.
Yup.
This is liberal Hollywood after all.
You can’t expect TV politics to reflect reality.
Then again, I don’t expect much from these kinds of shows.
That should be George Wallace. Henry Wallace was FDRs commie vice president. He got too radical even for FDR and was dumped for Truman.
We got the best of that deal by far.
