The Charlotte Police were there to “protect and serve”. This is one time I’m negative on the police but I understand they got their orders from the Mayor and the other Democrats in power.
When seconds count, the police are minutes away.
Better to call Officers Glock, SIG, Beretta, Smith and Wesson, and Colt.
Absolutely terrifying. This kind of violence MUST be stamped down. As it is the rioters have no fear. I can’t imagine how scary it must be to be caught in the middle of a violent mob.
Sounds just like the Rodney King Riots. We have really good friends from Texas that had just moved to korea town in Hollywood. When the Riots broke out we were in Santa monica and I begged them not to drive back to their apartment in Hollywood. They said... bah we will be fine..... They were stopped on the street when thugs were pulling white people out of their cars and savagely beating them in front and behind them. They made it to their apartment where they watched korean businesses burn all night around them.... the next morning at first light they ran for their car and drove all the way to Texas non stop. They didnt come back for 3 weeks. I learned a lot from that...

At NO point do dispatchers say stuff like, “We have units on their way now to your position...” Nothing like, “You’ll have help in 5 or 6 minutes..”
The dispatchers seem to just be documenting on some computer screen what the callers say as the hostiles approach.
Remember Hillary wanted to go there after the protests to show solidarity with the protesters. Now you know who she sides with and it is not the people stuck in their cars fearing the thugs.
This is an argument favoring hi-capacity magazines, assuming you have a gun with you for the mags. Hell, this is a good argument for full auto.
Absolute BS that criminal judges turn these thugs back on the streets after they’re arrested.
Thugs like this are a danger and shouldn’t be released for at LEAST 2 weeks. If there was actually a penalty associated with this criminal behavior, they may think a little longer about doing it.
Personally, I would be okay if they wasted these human debris but, if not, at least keep these animals in a cage to give them more time to think about breaking laws.
Between my equalizer and my 3/4 ton 4x4, I don’t think that it would have been pretty. I would have put it in 4 WD and started moving. Anyone block me and they would have been a target.

I suppose we’re getting to the point that no one will leave home without a friend riding shotgun holding an AR-15 in his lap. If the driver were also armed with his own black rifle, imagine how much fire they could lay down, should they get stopped.
I recommend a CB radio in your car. I have one. Truckers will let you know what’s going on up ahead, so you have the option of taking an alternate route.
Mine cost $50 from a pawn shop, plus $15 for a magnetic Radio Shack antenna. New radios are just a few dollars more.
Of course, you should have firepower as backup and be prepared to use it if avoidance isn’t possible.
But, know that if you’re forced to defend yourself on the street, you’re likely to need a lawyer, since your attackers will quickly turn into “witnesses” who outnumber you. And they will lie, count on it.
You cannot shoot video and drive, so, a dash cam is highly recommended, too, in addition to a CB.
Be aware, in riot situations, the police have already been given orders to protect the rights of the “peaceful protestors.” The likelihood they’ll come running to protect you when you call is zilch. You’re on your own.
Avoidance when possible; lethal defense when necessary.
