This election's reporting/polling has gone from merely pathetic to completely absurd. It is now a very transparent (and obvious) ridiculous farce, a caricature of itself valuable only for its humorous content.

As deplorable as the Lib pols have become, and they are much worse now than ever before, the media are simply gone. Dead. Fin.

Our once-proud, independent (even defiant!) press have become nothing more than slobbering, supplicating poodles to the Liberal destruction of American society and our national identity and pride.

President Trump will take these bastards to the woodshed regularly and with muscle. They are in for a well deserved pounding.

What is being witnessed here are some consequences of disruptive internet media and marketing eroding, supplanting, and diluting previously solvent media.

The media is insolvent.

The media is no longer capable of sustaining itself on its own. Thus, it cannot afford complete independence. In fact, any degree of independence found in any media today is meager.

This was evident in the year following the financial collapse (2008) when several ‘venerable’ media organizations went to Washington DC to stand in line with hat in hand waiting for their ‘bailout’. Yes, that really happened.

Billionaire Bezos now owns the Washington Post. Billionaire Slim now owns the nearly bankrupt New York Times. Billionaire Murdoch owns the Wall Street Journal and Fox News. The House of Saud, the Getty Family, and so many others are heavily invested. Most syndicated newspapers and cable programs are parts of media networks now owned by extremely wealthy benefactors. But what’s different about today’s media benefactors is they don’t expect any profits. They expect tax writeoffs with a value-added benefit of exercising pressure control in political matters as well as benefits to marketing their profit making ventures.

Where is it all going?

Most of us are smart enough to see that it’s going to a place where we are in control. We get what we want when we want it where we want it.

But .... freedom is not going to come so easily. That’s why the ICANN handoff is such a big under-the-radar deal. It’s a blatant move to control our content while giving us the illusion that we are in control.

Political control freaks will never give up trying to control us. We are their food. They must eat, they must eat us. We cannot be allowed to be free except by a magic trick of fake freedom.

If ICANN gets handed off, the person or group that rises up to replace it to compete and fight for our freedom will be rewarded with earthly rule until the cycle repeats.

If ICANN gets stopped, the battle for our content continues but we have the means to remain free to pursue truth, for a time.
