I think Trump beat Hillary last night simply because he appeared to be genuine while Hillary appeared to be as fake as a rubber duck.
I have to agree. I know it’s just one person, but my girlfriend watched the first 30 minutes and couldn’t take anymore. She’s not very political and originally didn’t like Trump because of what she heard on tv. Over the last few months I’ve talked to her about the issues, the importance of the election, and Trump’s personal history and she now finds him acceptable. Her takeaway last night was that Hillary is a ‘C’ and I don’t mean classified. She also called her smug and untrustworthy and now has absolutely no idea how anyone could ever vote for HRC.
I like that - Now I can’t have a rubber duck in the pool anymore for the kids. Bummer. But it is amazing how some people will like Hillary, like the elites. Or the people who are too stupid to understand simple facts e.g. those that think they have to drill holes in their Iphone 7 for the headphone jack (heard on Rush yesterday that some people think they have to do this after seeing a video)
The most obvious difference is that Trump leads a financial empire and Hillary is simply a figurehead led by staff.
They mollycoddle her, tell her what to wear, say, and do and give her an alibi when things go wrong.
The Hillary of last night was no more than a 3rd rate actress working off a script and she didn’t win the audition.
If she had anything to give the world there would already be evidence of it but she destroys everything she touches.
Rubber Duck! Bawahahaha!! Best. Ever.
She is fake. In every aspect of her life. Including...if she’s such a great big feminist why did she have to have a special Podium built so she wouldn’t look as dwarfed next to him? I mean really! I thought we were all supposed to be equal and treated equally. What’s the matter Hillary? And by the way what was that comment about equal pay not just for doing equal work. .. why else would someone get paid the same as somebody else unless they were performing equally? I mean if somebody came into my department and did a better job than me even though I have many, many years of tenure, I would have to say it would be fair if they were man or woman if they made more money than me. She’s out of her league with Donald Trump.
Spot on. Mrs. Clinton "appeared" calm and cool, but it didn't take long for viewers to see that was only intense coaching. One of her biggest deficits is the shrieking, harpy-like voice she'll often lapse into, and I'm sure her handlers are doing their best to stop that. For at least one night they did.
Trump held his own, even when he became a little unfocused. If he can simply stick to the issues, he'll win.
