Minnesota?! Could Trump possibly take the state that eluded even Reagan?
As an opponent, she is a gift from God, and we should all pray and be thankful.
Because there is no EARTHLY reason a party would pick hillary as their nominee.
Reagan probably won in MN in 1984, even against homeboy Mondale.
The official tally was about 3,200 more for Mondale -- less than one vote per voting precinct.
Reagan was winning, but the Iron Range held back reporting their results until every other precinct had reported. Then, it went heavily for Mondale with just enough votes to put him over the top.
I was polled about a week ago but I was not able to determine exactly who the pollster was. Perhaps it was tis poll.
At any rate, I mentioned a week ago that the jihadi/Somali Muslim attack on the mall in St. Cloud might have an impact on the election. Rural MN has been trending GOP for about 20 years now, but has never been enough to overcome the Twin Cities’ liberal biases.
An attack on Minnesota citizens who are living in the non-metro area must have been a jolt to many Minnesota rural folks. The St Cloud Mall is a magnet for all of central Minnesota. A terrorist attack so close to home is bound to get attention from the voters.
Minnesota has been traditionally Leftist. However, it's also one of the whiter states, only 5% black, and the Dems, with the help of BLM, have been alienating white voters lately. It's also been where Obama has been dumping thousands of Somalis.
I'm not going to count on it, but it seems possible. If it happens, the Dem party will see major upheaval.
