We have all opposed You at one time or another, and yet You never gave up on us nor turned Your back on us. By Your grace, we were called to You and to Your purposes, just as You called the Apostle Paul. And Your desire is to make us witnesses of the things we have seen and experienced----the mercy and grace that have led to our own personal conversions. Lord, how grateful we are that You pursued us and gave us chance after chance to receive the beautiful gift of salvation that You offer.
Lord, now we ask that You make us not only Your disciples, but Your followers. Help us to care enough about our fellow man to be concerned about their eternal destiny as well. Help us to be ministers and witnesses of Your love and Your truth.
Father, hide our military men and women in the shadow of Your wings. We know that they are frequently in extremely dangerous situations. Cover them with Your feathers and under Your wings may they safely trust. Keep their families at home safe and faithful to them. Send Your people to help them with all their needs.
Bless Your people, Israel, Father and may there be plentiful laborers to enter the fields of harvest so that all souls may receive Your salvation.
God of grace, make us instruments of Your peace and Your love. There is much to do before our Savior’s return. Help us Lord, to participate actively and prayerfully, that we may hasten the day. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
