FBI releases interviews with Clinton aides
The Hill ^ | September 23, 2016 | Katie Bo Williams

Posted on 09/23/2016 4:30:01 PM PDT by maggief

The FBI on Friday afternoon released almost 200 pages of summaries of interviews done during its investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server, including those with top aides Huma Abedin, Cheryl Mills and Jake Sullivan.

The interview for Justin Cooper, a former senior adviser to President Bill Clinton, is also included. Cooper registered the original clintonemail.com domain. In many of the documents, the name of the interviewee has been redacted. Several of the interviews with blocked-out names were with technicians at the Colorado-based firm that managed Clinton’s server.

The documents contain several previously unknown details.

According to the notes, the engineer who deleted an archive of Clinton’s old emails using a software known as BleachBit told investigators that he did so “of his own accord based on his normal practices as an engineer.”

BleachBit is designed to prevent recovery of deleted items.

The deletion of the archive occurred after the Benghazi Committee had issued a subpoena for documents related to the 2012 attack on the Libyan outpost. The deleted files have drawn fire from Republicans who suspect Clinton may have had a role in the destruction of the documents.

This Friday Afternoon FBI Clinton Document Dump is Total B.S.
by Rachel Stockman | 4:37 pm, September 2nd, 2016

Friday afternoon just as everybody was getting ready to leave for the long holiday weekend, why of course, the FBI decided to release the damning files from their Hillary Clinton investigation! Sorry, journalists, no afternoon drinking for you! Instead, the next few hours will be spent poring through pages and pages of documents including Clinton’s 12-page 302 interview form. Despite the overall inconvenience/bitterness from us journalists, today’s document dump ensures that pretty much no one from the public will focus their attention on what the FBI found–including revelations about how Clinton apparently doesn’t remembering going through training regarding the handling of classified information or — how she didn’t know that “C” meant classified. By Tuesday, all of that will be old news.

This isn’t the first time that the FBI’s timing as it relates to the Clinton investigation has drawn scrutiny. You might recall reporters scrambling as Clinton went to FBI headquarters July 4th weekend for her interview. Many pundits were not too pleased that they allowed her such a convenience.

And then just as everybody was getting over their holiday weekend hangovers, on July 5th, FBI Director James Comey notified the public that he would not be recommending charges against Clinton for her use of a private email server.

Comey defends releasing FBI’s Clinton report before holiday weekend

FBI Director James Comey responded Wednesday to accusations that the agency played politics with the timing of the release of a report detailing the Hillary Clinton email investigation, saying he doesn’t “play games.”

Comey has faced criticism from Republicans such as Speaker Paul Ryan, who questioned releasing the documents before a holiday weekend.
“I almost ordered the material held until Tuesday because I knew we would take all kinds of grief for releasing it before a holiday weekend, but my judgment was that we had promised transparency and it would be game-playing to withhold it from the public just to avoid folks saying stuff about us,” Comey said in a memo to employees Wednesday, according to CNN.

“We don’t play games. So we released it Friday. We are continuing to process more material and will release batches of documents as they are ready, no matter the day of the week.”

Obama used a pseudonym in emails with Clinton, FBI documents reveal

President Barack Obama used a pseudonym in email communications with Hillary Clinton and others, according to FBI records made public Friday.

The disclosure came as the FBI released its second batch of documents from its investigation into Clinton’s private email server during her tenure as secretary of state.

The 189 pages the bureau released includes interviews with some of Clinton’s closest aides, such as Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills; senior State Department officials; and even Marcel Lazar, better known as the Romanian hacker “Guccifer.”

In an April 5, 2016 interview with the FBI, Abedin was shown an email exchange between Clinton and Obama, but the longtime Clinton aide did not recognize the name of the sender.

“Once informed that the sender’s name is believed to be pseudonym used by the president, Abedin exclaimed: ‘How is this not classified?’” the report says. “Abedin then expressed her amazement at the president’s use of a pseudonym and asked if she could have a copy of the email.”

The State Department has refused to make public that and other emails Clinton exchanged with Obama. Lawyers have cited the “presidential communications privilege,” a variation of executive privilege, in order to withhold the messages under the Freedom of Information Act.

The report doesn’t provide more details on the contents of that particular email exchange, but says it took place on June 28, 2012, and had the subject line: “Re: Congratulations.” It may refer to the Supreme Court’s ruling that day upholding a key portion of the Obamacare law.

A report on the FBI’s June 7, 2016 interview with “Guccifer” confirms FBI Director James Comey’s claim that Lazar falsely asserted that he’d surreptitiously accessed Clinton’s server.

“Lazar began by stating that he had never claimed to hack the Clinton server. [An FBI agent] then advised that Fix News had recently published an article which reported that Lazar had claimed to have to Clinton server. Lazar then stated that he recalled the interview with Fox News, and that he had lied to them about hacking the Clinton server.”

Additional FBI interviewees whose reports were made public Friday included Jake Sullivan, Clinton’s policy planning director; Bryan Pagliano, a former Clinton technology aide; Monica Hanley, a veteran Clinton aide who worked for her in the Senate and at State; and Sidney Blumenthal, Clinton’s longtime confidant.

The so-called “302” reports also detail FBI interviews with former Secretary of State Colin Powell, former CIA acting director Mike Morell, State Department official Pat Kennedy, State Department Inspector General Steve Linick, Bill Clinton aide Justin Cooper, former diplomatic security chief Eric Boswell and longtime diplomat Lewis Lukens.

Some of the interview reports had the subject’s name removed on privacy grounds before the records were released. Many of those people seem to be computer technicians or lower-level State Department officials.

The FBI published 58 pages of documents earlier this month that revealed Clinton had relied on others’ judgment to not send her classified material during email correspondences.

“Clinton did not recall receiving any emails she thought should not be on an unclassified system,” the FBI said in its Sept. 2 report. “She relied on State officials to use their judgment when emailing her and could not recall anyone raising concerns with her regarding the sensitivity of the information she received at her email address.”

FU rat-bastard Comey. You SINGLE-HANDEDLY destroyed the FBI. Thousands of dignified male and female agents SUDDENLY TRASHED by your co-conspiratorial cover-up for Hillary.

No one will EVER trust the FBI again. Ever. Too busy ALLOWING TERRORISTS like Ahmad Rahami (New Jersey), Omar Mateen (Orlando) and Tashfeen Malik (San Bernardino) re-enter from terrorist-plagued countries to EXECUTE THEIR MISSIONS I guess.

Two comments:

1) According to the notes, the engineer who deleted an archive of Clinton’s old emails using a software known as BleachBit told investigators that he did so “of his own accord based on his normal practices as an engineer.”

This is an obvious lie based on the timing revealed in the Reddit posts. I think the deletions, or inquiries about them, come one day after the information that they were about to be subpoenaed by Congress.

2) The Obama pseudonym, or alias, isn't surprising, but should be considered as a bombshell revelation. What was his pseudonym? And, more importantly, what were the email subjects he discussed with Hillary? And further, it shows he was aware of, and in on, the private server. That this doesn't interest the FBI, or get explored further, is just ridiculous.

He was clearly not only aware of the private email, but communicated with Hillary via that private server.

Yet, the habitual liar..."only learned of Hillary Clinton's private email address use for official State Department business after a New York Times report, he told CBS News in an interview."

That was earlier this year.

So he lied, yet again, to the American people.

However, the (R) controlled congress can't find a way to use their Constitutional power to bring him...or Hillary, to account.

Stunning.

Obama is using priviledge to hide the emails. However the bigger point seems to be glossed over. Obama was fully aware of her illegal server and lied about it. Further, his emails should be secure even if they are not classified. He knows they are on that server and it would be rather easy to see who is using a fake name. This is also up on Drudge. Very important subject. What if Wiki has these emails? They will all go down hard.

Based on a Drudge headline, it looks like the Big Zero himself was hiding his email identity with a false handle.

So we have an Obama head of the EPA, we have a bunch of hacks at the IRS hiding who they are. And now the Big Zero himself is hiding who he really is in emails among his minions.

What a sick, sick, corrupt administration.

In Watergate, each of Nixon's pawns had to be sacrificed so they could get to the king. The king is driving this train wreck just as Nixon drove the Watergate lies.

If Americans are going to elect this fat pig to be President, then it won't matter what more Congress does. But they will continue on just as they did against Nixon.

Hillary will not resign as Nixon did but Hussein Obama, America's FIRST Muslim President, will likely flee the country to avoid prosecution. You'd have to be a total idiot to vote for any (D) in this election. the party of criminals.
