Trump didn’t back down at all. Cruz got NOTHING for making an *ss of himself and destroying any chance he might have had at a political future. Why wouldn’t Trump be gracious....it’s what winners do.

If that was Trump’s only comment he did not say that he accepted the Cruz Endorsement, he merely said he looked forward to working with Cruz to pass the Trump agenda.
