The NFL this season has 32 league-wide category sponsors, including new brands in the auto and yogurt categories. Hyundai this season begins a four-year deal with the league. The automaker replaces GM, which had been the NFL’s official auto brand since ’01. Dannon, which began running Super Bowl spots in ’12, begins the first year of its league-wide deal after signing on in July '14. NFL corporate partnership benefits vary from deal to deal, but they typically include category exclusivity, use of league marks for advertising and promotional purposes, event signage, media exposure through radio, print and TV ads, as well as various hospitality benefits. The group below does not include media or apparel partners, or any pending renewals that expired at the end of the '14 season (THE DAILY).

Enjoy the games (except on ESPN). Boycott the sponsors. Artilce one year old but most sponsors are long term.

This isn't our fathers' NFL.

The only one of those companies I patronize is USAA and I’m pretty pissed. An organization built for the benefit of service members, veterans and their families shouldn’t be associated with the NFL. I’ve been a USAA member for almost 30 years and I have already expressed my anger to them, for the fat lot of good it’s likely to do.

Listening to the commenters, they said that without Brady the fans were hoping that the team could at least go 2-2 by the time he comes back from suspension. Now, they are 3-0. The Texans were expected to have a much better performance. It was numbing to watch.

what Crisis?
Tough to beat the smartest and the bestest.
Underestimate the Best of the Best and the most “patriotic” to your own demise.
I saw my guys taking pics with the minutemen...where were your thugs?

Irony is so sweet.

Yeah, I know Brady’s Godlike but what happens in a few years if the cap is tight and they do this well without him anyway?

and the backup last week (Italian guy) was good!!!

He got injured.

Can’t wait till Jets face them with the best receiving corps and defensive line in the league.

Weak secondary ####.

The Mrs and I came to the agreement that we would only watch games of teams that do not engage in the crap we have seen from Goodell. We made it one week and have now decided none of them until he is gone and some sort of sanity that made the sport great is coming back.

many of the sponsors were on board well before any of this National Anthem crap started and are now in an impossible situation. The best they can do is to hold news conferences also noting their displeasure and option on any little clause that may give them the opportunity to cease ongoing support of the league. If they cannot legally do so, say so and let the chips fall where they may.

I plan to start calling the investor relations departments at these various sponsoring organizations and ask why they hate the US and the national anthem.
