I go to a lot of baseball games every year. Mostly Angel stadium in Anaheim Ca. (although I’m a Dodger fan) 99% of people still honor the anthem by standing and removing their caps. Very many, including myself will place their hand over their hearts as they pay tribute to the huge American flag in center field.
Most people do not support this stupid sitting during the anthem at all. This seems to be a black liberal thing. It’s BLM BS.
I don’t doubt some people feel that way; I’m just not at events where the issue even arises.
The ingratitude doesn’t seem to have spread to baseball. Maybe that’s proof of what sport really does deserve the reputation as the national pastime.
