The chief of the IRS fended off Republican demands Wednesday that he should lose his job, telling the House Judiciary Committee that he'd made statements about missing emails that later proved wrong but had done nothing to merit impeachment.
At a four-and-one-half hour hearing on whether to oust him, John Koskinen repeatedly said he'd cooperated fully with congressional investigators probing why his agency before he joined it subjected tea party groups seeking tax exemptions to excessive scrutiny. Conservatives leading a campaign-year effort to remove him said Koskinen has headed an agency that destroyed emails investigators wanted and he should pay the price.

He’s a smarmy bas**** !
He should be impeached.
“IRS chief tells House panel he does not deserve impeachment”
I’m glad that’s cleared up.
Best part of impeaching the crook is to serve notice to other libs that the gig is up and they can look forward to more of the same. The e-mail bunch are the next ones in line.
Koskinen might as well say, “Congressman, I know where you live and where your children go to school. Want proof?”
Al Capone didn’t think he deserved prison.
Bill Clinton didn’t think he deserved impeachment.
Julius and Ethel Rosenberg didn’t think they deserved execution.
Barack Obama doesn’t think he deserves to be tried as a traitor.
And I would do it so that the Senate can pass it on the last day of session.
That way Kosko goes down in history as an impeached major official.
Tar and feathering should do just fine.
“I’m just a poor boy. Nobody loves me!”.
IRS chief tells House panel he does not deserve impeachment
Hanging works too
The FBI’s James Comey and this looser. And CIA chief John Brennan is a mozlim and voted for Gus Hall in `76. A real rogues gallery.
To their credit the Senate GOP wanted to filibuster Koskinen’s 2013 nomination, but that was a time when it was still OK to use the `nuclear option’ and `rat’s and the usual RINOs voted to confirm with 56 votes.
Not long after that Koskinen started lying his pants off. He should be removed. This administration has no credibility, particularly its IRS.
Just to be clear, dear authorities, I was NOT calling for the execution of the IRS Chief. Impeachment will do just fine, thank you very much.
Congressional excuse to make it appear they’re really doing something.
He probably deserves far worse.
It’s that smirk on his face I don’t like.
Impeach and strip him of any pension.
And loss of pension and retirement.
You’re dang right!!!
