Openly kill lots of them back. They only respect power.
I have a great idea. We send in our street gangs armed to the teeth and pay them 5.00 a beard. Or, the NRA. They would probably do it for free and bring their own guns and pay for the ammo.

I have said the same thing. It will ultimately be widely recognized to be the ONLY solution, and the sooner the better. Why wait until countless more innocents are slaughtered? It is morally wrong to do so.
