Yesterday, my 43 year old son came to my house and saw his 16 year old brother eating a hot dog with ketchup on it and said to him, “What are you, some kinda queer”?
No rosy P.C. there.
That is hilarious! The last time I saw anyone-straight, LGBTXYZ or whatever-eat a hotdog with anything but chili or some variety of mustard on it was when I was about 10 years old, and it was a female cousin...
The local “style” of hotdog involves mustard, slaw, chili and onions. But, there are other varieties. I’ve seen pickle relish, mustard, ketchup and onion on one, many restaurants offer them that way, some with bacon also or even cheddar cheese, and I have even eaten them that way before. It’s not bad. What is this “queer” thing about ketchup on a hot dog? Never heard it before.
