Fact is, they ALL want attention, if only to then condemn you for it. Women are pleased when they get looked at by men THEY find attractive, and outraged when men they don't find attractive dare to speak to them.

Saturday Night Live did a great skit on this. Things the ‘dude’ did to and around the office females set their hearts aflutter, while the mere presence of the nerdy IT guy drew shrieks of sexual harassment.
