They take their sweet old time getting around to the indictment up there, huh.
“They take their sweet old time getting around to the indictment up there, huh.”
An acquaintance’s daughter was recently severely beaten by her longterm, live-in “boyfriend.” He is a drug dealer. Five years ago he went to meet a buyer who decided he wanted the drugs for free. The boyfriend shot and killed the other man. Since then he has been out on bail. Bail, for five years. Finally, the bail was cancelled because of the beating. (When police arrived, he was naked, on all fours and trying to bite the furniture. I’m guessing some new drug he was beta-bite testing.)
So, the wheels of justice grind slowly and, apparently, in coarse chunks. I am guessing that the indictment you are referencing happened in comparative warp speed.
Since the FBI let Hillary skate, I am wondering if “justice” works on any level. (Although, they were pretty damned quick to put the sailor who took a selfie in front of a computer screen in jail for a full year. If only he had used his personal server and sent thousands of classified emails, he could have skated too.)
They couldn’t figure out how to not indict him
