“With all due respect, if this is the way you feel, then why are you even here on Free Republic? Seriously, why?”

Because Freerepublic is one of the only places left.

And even here, there is misinformation that makes it through. The browsable internet is full of garbage. The confidence in what you see and hear are so low that it’s not even considered data anymore.

Well, I agree that this is one of the places where good information can be obtained. There are different opinions, but there is a vast array of topics and informative articles.

I don’t agree that the browsable internet is full of garbage...Of course it does have garbage because that is what FREEDOM AND LIBERTY allow—exchange of all kinds of information and ideas...I don’t know where you are looking; however, I have found many valuable websites that contain useful information—about politics and all kinds of subjects... finances/saving money, financial news, cooking, gardening, home repairs, home selling, prepardness, etc...I like being able to communicate with friends and family, pay bills and do investing over the internet as well.

But even if the only site you think is worth your time and effort is Free Republic, if you sit back and do nothing, then Free Republic, like all conservative websites, may be at risk in future to being subjugated to globalist regulations such as UN hate speech directives.

We need to keep the Internet “local” and free. The bills in the House HR5418 and Senate SB3034 will help to ensure this.
