Snopes rates this story as only "possibly true". That's odd given that the Huffington Post still has the article up, and Jennifer Hudson has never denied it.
As for the people Hillary has sheltered, that would be no one. In fact, it's quite the contrary. People who are around Hillary tend to meet with unfortunate accidents.
