O’REILLY: Political commentator Mark Steyn recently returned from Europe where he attended the priest funeral and spoke with a number of people affected by the Jihad. Mr. Steyn joins us now from Colchester, VT. What did you learn there? What was the headline that you learned in Europe, Mr. Steyn?
STEYN: Well, you said at the top of the show that migrants aren’t the problem, jihadists are. And that’s true but there is a crude arithmetic here, Bill which is that the more Muslims you have, the more terrorism you have. So, that France, Belgium and Germany have very high Muslim populations, and they have a lot of terrorism. When you were in Poland and the Czech Republic, they have very few Muslims so they don’t have terrorism. And the question for Europe, and I think for the United States a few years down the line is whether you can contain this, just by the big security state. I was on the beach.
O’REILLY: Go ahead.
STEYN: Well, no, you can’t. I mean, there were soldiers everywhere in France now. Outside of schools, shopping centers, railway stations. I was on the beach at Saint-Tropez where the topless women have armed soldiers with automatic weapons patrolling between the topless women. It’s a sad sight and it’s an absurd sight. Ultimately it’s no solution.

I listened to that exchange. Steyn owned that interview. To his credit, O’Reilly pretty much agree with Stein.
It’s pretty bad when the only people that can tell the truth about terrorism are people who don’t live in America.

I’ve read that he will. I’ve also read that he might have some exposure on the Ailes lawsuits, but the media is mum on that, so I’m doubting they have anything.

When we started importing all these ‘refugees’, we were told by Obama and his State Dept. (Hillary) that we needn’t worry as they would be vetted and only safe people would be let in. So how come no one is being held accountable for this lack of duty? No need to answer..

That is where I learned the habit of DAILY MASS, thanks to my Muslim boss. He said that "God is number one. There is always time for God. [Cloudmountain] can go to pray whenever she wants to."
He said that to my Catholic Indian co-worker who objected to my going to Sunday Mass...even when I made up the time at our lunch hour. Our "weekends" were Thursdays and Fridays and Sunday was a workday.
I didn't always go to daily Mass there but when we returned home to the USA I DID. Still do.

Of course. Correlation of the output of smoke with the presence of fire, is not causation by the smoke. Smoke is a BY-PRODUCT of fire, not its cause.
A fine nuance, perhaps, but one that many people cannot seem to grasp.
Before smoke may be formed, there has to be fire FIRST.
This is a very insightful take I hadn't considered before. Maybe the reason why the left want to import these people is because they WANT more terrorist violence in order to justify more and more repressive police state laws - "for our own protection". It's just another way to rob us of our freedom.

I do agree with your point though - he is not originally from here, and looks at this country and its actions through the eyes of someone not raised here. He, and many others like him, can see the utter folly of many things that (the many brainwashed) people don’t and can’t see.
Bout ten years ago I called O’Really and told his screener that I wanted to talk about the New Immigration Police State.
Because even that long ago anyone could see that it would take that to keep a lid on so many enemy aliens operating among us. That’s what happens when you open the gates to the Barbarians.
His screener put me on hold saying that’s an interesting topic.
When O’Really got to it, he hesitated, read the comment line and said...uh, no. You could hear the judgement in his voice.
Too bad. Now it’s upon us, and guys like him...who think it’ll all work out in the end, just a few casualties on the way, no biggie...are realizing they were WRONG.
Unfortunately for many people, they were DEAD WRONG.
I was in Nice about a month before the terrorist truck event. It wasn’t on the beach, but in a high end park / shopping district quite close to the beach and truck event site, we saw a French army fire team in full battle rattle. Famas rifles, Kevlar vests (not sure about ceramic plates), helmets clipped to gear, but wearing berets. They were just patrolling around, from the looks of it. It was a little disconcerting, I don’t mind admitting, but in retrospect not unreasonable, given later events.
