I think people would go wild if any of the moderators go on like this and Trump calls them out about it. Something like “Is this about you and your prejudices or is this a debate” If you want to debate on national TV run for president yourself.”
Good warm up for Trump. This is what the debates will be like. He has to keep his cool. So...did Clinton say this or was it her campaign that introduced this issue. Big deal. Trump should say it was her campaign, thru one of her most trusted operatives.
Racist? Did McCain have the same issue? Wasn’t there a Senate resolution on this, not to mention a Federal lawsuit?
Boy would I like to see her bar tab.
I am sure Mr. Trump has the proof he needs to pin the Birther issue on Hillary’s 2008 campaign. In fact, it will be just the trap he needs to throw their strategy back in their face. Once the American people see the effort the media will go to suck Trump into a Gotcha Moment, the media will look like the morons the are.
After Trump squishes the media like a bug with their Birther effort, he can emphasize their incompetance by chastising them for being sidetracked by this useless subject. There are issues that means so much more to the American public. Then he can go through a list of those subjects so important to America. He can turn the tables on them by asking, “Don’t you see these issues more important than the Birther issue or are you obsessed with with an effort to take me down over a trivial non-issue?”
Trump need to preface each debate with his own summary of the background of the moderator.
I like it.... and post a much longer version on the campaign website 20 minutes before the debate starts and let people know that as they watch the debate, they should get themselves up to speed on history and character of the ones asking the questions.....
