This is just anecdotal, but I have never heard any black person discuss the birther issue—it appears to be a controversy among talking heads.

It is a classic media red herring—if Obama were born on Mars it would be irrelevant to this election campaign—and is just another media “controversy” so they can yell “racist Trump” over and over again.

Its not the birther issue. Its the WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO LOSE comment. Not only are they not liking Hillary but they are really pissed at obama.

Many “fair minded” Americans feel any legitimate American citizen should be able to run for president no matter their birth status or what the constitution says....I’m not saying I agree with it but such is the sentiment. Thus birtherism was never an issue when it comes to Obama, McCain, Cruz, ect.
