Japan does need more racial tolerance but this is getting sorta suspicious:

Last year a Miss Japan who was half black.

THIS year a Miss Japan who is half Indian.

This is getting silly and it smells like some weird form of affirmative action.

She is HALF Indian? Wow, I didn't think that any Japanese would LOWER herself...and that any Indian would LOWER herself.
The Japanese, in my read, are VERY clannish, not as clannish as the Chinese, but nevertheless, very clannish.

I wonder if she follow Hinduism. At least the Hindus have a God [well, 330 million of them]. The Japanese don't. They are into hero and ancestor worship
