Other than Bruce Jenner and his ilk I have never seen a group so willing to neuter themselves into irrelevance. The Congress is no longer a third branch of government. You currently have the president and the courts and amazingly these two entities boss the legislative branch around like they are slaves when they control the money and could shut the executive and judicial branches down in heartbeat.
The fun will begin when the executive branch defies the courts and the courts reaction. If they fail to act the transition to empire is complete.

Once again, the GOP shows how strong their backbone really is.
Good thinking . . . . . . because we all loooooovvve the IRS do much.
This is why congress has such low approval ratings. People don’t mind the hearings. People want congressional oversight. What pisses people off is when the hearings expose all the corruption of govt officials, politicians, but they aren’t punished. Nobody is fired , nobody goes to jail. They lay out all of wrong doing for the whole world to see, and then do nothing.
If Trump gets elected, he can simply do it himself or have the DOJ appoint a special prosecutor, I believe. Make an end run around the wussies in the House/Senate.
I think it’s more likely a big F-U to use those that support Trump. They know their days are numbered and they are as pissed at Trump as the Democrats are. They are all political crooks.
That would make a great tagline
