US manufacturing output stumbled in August

U.S. factory production fell last month amid cutbacks in appliances, home electronics and machinery, threatening hopes for a manufacturing rebound after two previous months of gains.

The Federal Reserve said Thursday factory production dropped 0.4 percent in August, after an increase of 0.4 percent in July. A broader measure of industrial output, which includes mines and utilities, also dropped 0.4 percent.

Manufacturers have struggled for the past 18 months with sluggish global growth, the strong dollar, and reluctance among U.S. businesses to spend more on large machinery and equipment. That has dragged down factory output 0.4 percent from a year ago. The slowdown has also cost about 30,000 factory workers their jobs in the past year. …

I can’t recall where I saw it but I believe that there was a report that there are 10 million more government workers than manufacturing workers in this country.

If so, this is a truly sick and disgusting commentary on our country when we now have the parasites in government and those sucking off welfare far outnumber productive citizens. The government parasites are particularly insidious and much worse than the welfare cases because not only do their salaries drain tax dollars, their functions as regulators destroy wealth and promote the welfare system.

The larger government gets, the more evil it becomes.

Think back a few decades. We were worried the demographics didn’t work out even back then. The Kenyan and his Kronies have just spent 8 years making things even worse. When the Fed tries to punish us for electing Trump they will seriously damage the economy. Personally I hope Trump follows the JFK play book by printing Silver Certificates that makes the Fed Reserve notes worthless and then pays theim off with their own worthless notes.

No comic book. I have a couple of the notes. Read yer Constitution to discover who actually has the authority to print money.
