Donald Trump leads Hillary Clinton by 5 percentage points in a Bloomberg Politics poll of Ohio, a gap that underscores the Democrats challenges in critical Rust Belt states after one of the roughest stretches of her campaign.
The Republican nominee leads Clinton 48 percent to 43 percent among likely voters in a two-way contest and 44 percent to 39 percent when third-party candidates are included.
The poll was conducted Friday through Monday, meaning the news cycle during the polling period included her basket of deplorables controversy and part of the poll covered the time period when her health problem was in the news.

Meanwhile, up in Maine, Trump has a really good shot at getting at least one of Maines electoral votes. Hes down three statewide according to a new Boston Globe poll, but remember that Maine gives an electoral vote to whoever wins each congressional district, and right now, Trump is up 10 in the Second Congressional District.

Deplorable.
I like the way they put that- it 'underscores her challenges'... If this was hilLIARy in the lead by 5 points they would be saying its all over for Trump and he should just concede now and let her take over.
That’s not deplorable. I’m Deplorable.
Hillary is finished.
Everything has just turned voters against her and once they’ve made up their minds, its settled.
She had her chance and blew it.
Trumps lead has zoomed to five points ahead of post-Ground Zero Hillary.
This happened BEFORE Obama gave a rousing speech flacking Hillary,
Michele flacked Hillary, too.
So expect Trump to catapault into a double-digit lead.
Oh, before I forget, Obama talked about himself 137 times during his speech flacking Hillary.
I doubt Trump up by only 6 in Texas. If a squirrel like Romney got 16 pt. advantage in 2012, Trump should be up by 50! LOL!
However, let's hope that she's not so "finished" that they replace her with someone healthier, as she is so beatable. I would like to see her stay in the race and then to get soundly trounced on Election Day.
Every time Medusa rears her ugly head now, more of her former base turn to stone and there is a multi-point drop in her polls. We can expect dramatic turn of events in the near future.
Did someone mention baskets?
A large part of Trump’s base is deplorable. A large part of Hillary’s base is deportable.
Too soon to say that. I see dozens of people saying that they will still vote for her.
If this poll is accurate, Trump’s only down about 21,000 in Maine. A great get out the vote effort, 3 of 4 ev’s will happen.
I have a 50-50 shot at being Deplorable. I’m leaning on the ‘yes’ side.
(Don’t forget to read tag lines.)
Before you get too excited ... have you noticed how just many Hillary
campaign signs have been popping out everywhere in recent days?
LOLOL!!!!
Trump is leaving nothing on the table. He is campaigning everywhere
He is fighting to win
How refreshing
Now we need to do our part
Get Out The Vote
Hillary is down, but she’s not out yet. This is no time to relax. Instead, it’s time to go all out. Hillary is in a tough spot. She’s too sick to be out on the campaign trail, but can’t afford to stay home, either. Sending out surrogates only buys her time for the short term, but won’t work for the duration of the campaign. We need to keep the pressure on, force her out of hiding, and put this thing away once and for all.
