Its still early, but at this point in the 2016 campaign, its not unreasonable to think that Hillary Clinton could cost the Democrats the Senate. Her campaign is not building any sort of wave or momentum that is producing a downdraft that could deliver the Senate majority to the Democrats. By most measures, the Democrats should retake the Senate in 2016. Republicans are defending 24 Senate seats, and the Democrats are defending only 10.
Despite having a generally weak bench, the Democrats have done a pretty good job at candidate recruitment. But Clintons lackluster, dull and uninspiring campaign, not to mention the fact that Democratic candidates cannot vouch for her honesty, is depriving them of their chance.

Ed Rogers probably won’t be at the WaPo much longer. He must have missed the memo from Bezos.
More like; Eight years of Obama could cost the democrats the Senate.
What? Just a few days ago, Trump was going to cause Johnny Isakson and John McCain to lose their re-election bids.
Paul Harvey voice... it’s that bad, or great folks. I tend to lean to the great.
If Bezo’s new rocket blows up, it may distract him enough to let Ed unscathed.:-)
Pay to play in the new #DNCLeaks
Abandon ship. LOL.
Ambassadorships have always been for sale. Nothing new on that one.
McCain is 20 points ahead of his Dem opponent. As usual the pundits got it all wrong. Hillary is poison, not Trump.
She could care less about anyone but herself.
This is like a dam about to break, the cracks are appearing all over the Democrat face...it will be the worried, kept-out-of-the-inner-circle Democrat candidates that will revolt on Hillary...once the chain reaction starts it will be hard to contain, these Democrats see the offices as their path to unimaginable wealth (corrupt jerks). They won’t stay on the reservation as Hillary does face plant after face plant.
Now that right there is some real gold.
They already paid huge sums of money in return for future favors. If she crashes, all that money is totally wasted. Talk about bad investment, which I don’t mind. Their loss is our gain.
Too bad. Juan is the poster boy for needing to spend more time with his fam.
Especially since Republicans are likely to win Nevada and may win the Colorado seat. (We all need to do what we can for that one — Darryl Glenn is a good solid Tea Party conservative.)
“McCain is 20 points ahead of his Dem opponent.”
Good. I can leave the damn thing blank in good conscience.
Nancy Pelosi Urges Paul Ryan to Ban Republicans From Using Hacked Documents
Yeah, I know. That was last week.
And last week anyone who suggested Hillary is sick is spreading right wing conspiracy theories.
This week, if you don’t believe she has pneumonia you’re spreading right wing conspiracy theories.
