For most of the past year, Carly Fiorina worked as hard as she could to beat Donald Trump.
First, she competed against the eventual GOP presidential nominee in the scrum of the 17-candidate Republican primary. After her campaign foundered, she returned to the fray briefly as the running mate of Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, in the final days of his campaign.
Now, as crunch time for Republicans emerges and the choice is stark, Fiorina, the former CEO of Hewlett-Packard, says she is making a choice she wants all Americans to make.
“We must have President Trump — we can’t have President Clinton,” she told members of the Washington State Republican Party at their fall dinner, according to a tweet from the party.
The comment drew positive reaction.
Fiorina and Trump exchanged epic sound bites demeaning one another during the GOP’s tempestuous primary days.
Good, we need all hands on deck.

Administration?! There are winners and losers. She lost.
Trump has far more loyal and successful options for all cabinet posts.

Yup, now’s the time for ted to give up his dreams of 2020 because hillary is too illin’ to win this year. He may as well endorse Trump. Go Trump!

Wow, that is a welcome statement. It is an obvious statement, but not one I was expecting from her at this juncture.

NEVERCRUZ!!! I don’t trust him..he has lost all credibility and trust! I used to think very highly of him until he pulled that STUPID stunt at the RNC convention! Because of his pride he single-handedly destroyed his political career! He should have bit his tongue and endorsed trump instead he went out there and shot himself in the foot!
