The head of the Democratic National Committee said on Tuesday the organization had been hacked by Russian state-sponsored agents who were trying to influence the U.S. presidential election, after a similar leak in July roiled the party.
A link to the documents was posted on WikiLeaks' Twitter account and attributed to alleged hacker Guccifer 2.0. The release came during a presentation on Tuesday from a person speaking on behalf of Guccifer 2.0 at a London cyber security conference, Politico reported.
Reuters could not immediately access the documents.
"There's one person who stands to benefit from these criminal acts, and that's (Republican presidential nominee) Donald Trump," DNC interim Chair Donna Brazile said in a statement.

The DNC has no idea who is hacking them, and whether it is Russian State sponsored or not. The DNC has its own agenda. They want the Obama Admin, through Homeland Security, to take over the U.S. election process using “Russian” hacking as the excuse.
They wouldn’t.

Doc Savage said last week, I believe it was, it wouldn’t surprise him if Trump wins the Presidency, Obama will come out and say the Russians hacked our voting machines and we must have another election.
A few years ago, anyone who made such a statement I would listen for strictly for its entertainment value as I like to hear a wild conspiracy theory.
Now? Nothing is beyond the realm of believability.
But when someone donates $3.5M in exchange for a job that probably only pays about $150,000/year, alarm bells really go off all over the place ... because the return on that investment is ultimately going be huge, and it's not going to be obvious.

Lemme see if I have this straight, the Russians hacked the DNC to obtain a bunch of unclassified information but, at the same time, it’s very unlikely that they would have hacked Hillary’s private servers to obtain a whole bunch of classified information?
