Obama reports income as “savings”. If he declares ObamaCare saved $2,500, and it didn’t, he then adds that to income.

Of course, the $3000 bump could just be someone adding a part-time minimum wage job to the household income, since those are the majority of Obama’s “job growth”.

Relative got laid off from big name tech company as jobs were outsourced to India. She is going back to school to get retrained. No work there. People may be working, but the jobs are low paying, poor hours, or very few hours.
The economy is not good. We’ve been hearing about big bank woes. Anyone else hear that news?

We know the median income in this country is now less than $30,000. We’ve added over 500,000 waitresses and bartenders and have lost manufacturing jobs under this regime. Retail stores continue to drop like flies.
This number is a total outlier which makes no sense. Must be an election coming up or something.
Next week when nobody is looking the numbers will be revised downward, as they always are.

This is HOUSEHOLD income ,,, they’re merely counting the kids income in with the parents as more are moving back home... In my area we’re seeing new homes built with 3 and 4 car garages and up to 8 (that’s right) bedrooms ... 2 families in one house ... and the government changed the affordability guidelines for conforming loans to allow counting all the income under the roof and not just the borrowers..

where is this income growth supposedly coming from? Because wages and total earnings are not rising anywhere near 5 percent real. Neither is total compensation.

That was last year, when there was a bump in growth in 2014, that ended by EOY. It fell in 2015 and its been zero growth effectively this year.
