Islamophobia has been on the rise in Germany ever since a million refugees descended on the country last year. Now, with state elections looming in Berlin, a mosque in the city is trying to mobilize the Muslim vote.
On a recent Friday evening, Mohamed Tahi Sabri ascended the tall wooden minbar in the Dar-as-Salam mosque in Berlins immigrant-heavy Neukölln district and implored 1,500 of his fellow believers to do something that may seem counterintuitive to many Muslims living here: vote in upcoming elections. Youve got these movements like Pegida and the AfD, a party that vilifies Islam in its party program, Sabri said, referring to a populist protest movement and the far-right Alternative for Germany party, which has gone from fringe movement to a household name for many Germans who are drawn to its unabashedly Islamophobic message.
If they came to power, they would pass laws in order to marginalize Muslims. So we had the idea that, as Muslims, we must do something to prevent that from happening, Sabri added.

If they don’t believe in the Infidel system of laws then why would they vote in it?
The ‘million-Euro’ question....unless you lessen your dependence on the religion and become westernized.
Only to point it out but those who show up in Germany for immigration purposes...might want to grasp that a strong quarter of the population is atheist and growing....particularly in the eastern side of the country. If you wanted to retain your religion...Germany would not be a good choice.
Funny, what they currently call Islamophobia used to be called Patriotism.
My how things have changed under the lib-prog-commie-globalist pigs.
Soft minds like theirs is so easy to manipulate and turn them into useful idiots.
Oh, there needs to be a mobilization and not for the vote.
Stand outside their mosques and sing the Panzerlied.
