Donald Trump Invites Supporters On Stage To Say They Are Not 'Deplorable'

Donald Trump on Monday evening invited a handful of supporters onstage at a North Carolina rally to offer their thoughts on Hillary Clinton's "deplorable" comments from a fundraiser last week.

"These are not deplorable people, that I can tell you," Trump said as his supporters made their way to the stage.

The husband and wife who spoke first said they had been working in public education for their entire lives.

"My wife and I represent non-deplorable people," the husband joked.

Others piled on.

"I am probably a lot of things," a woman said. "Deplorable is not one of them, I assure you."

"Do I look deplorable?" another woman added.

"No!" the crowd shouted back.

"I am a wife, a mother, and I work full time. Mrs. Clinton, you can go home!" the woman added.

Clinton said at a Friday gala in New York City that "half" of Trump's supporters are "deplorable" people.

I just saw a Trump commercial criticizing Hillary for the "deplorable" comment. 3 days to get a response on local TV. Romney or McCain would still be working on the exact wording of their apology to Hillary for being deplorable.

Trump should run a series of ads each showing pictures of a specific set of occupations stating Hillary believes we are deplorable. Our families do not and we support Trump. Teachers, firefighters, veterans, health care workers, white collar workers, laborers, farmers, stay at home moms, etc. Pound that message from now to the election relentlessly.

She never apologized for it, simply said “I regret.....” Which is a way of saying I’m sorry I got caught........

Trump seems to always do what I wish the last bunch of GOP nominees did.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

There are so many things to pound and so little time to do it.

This is a very smart move by the Trump campaign.

I really like the one lady...

“I am a wife, a mother, and I work full time. Mrs. Clinton, you can go home!”

“There are so many things to pound and so little time to do it.”

That’s Trump has Pence, Rudy, Mike Flinn, Chris Christie and Newt. Plus Reinse Prebius.

Give them all a hammer

True, and she didn't mean half of us are deplorable. She meant ALL of us.

They don’t need a hammer,

They already have them and have been using them very effectively

I like that Trump lets his surrogates do the dirty work

That way he can focus on the campaign and issues.

The voters are responding to these changes very positively

She never apologized for deplorable, she specified being sorry about saying “half”.

They can use this tactic all the way to the election.

Trump is so amazing.

He smokes Hillary out of hiding, and withing days is handed this gift to beat her over the head with the entire rest of the campaign.
