We’ll see. I don’t see much daylight in the Constitution on who establishes the rules for elections and who certifies it. And when I mean certify, I mean unconditional — There’s no need for it to be perfunctory.

If the executive is seen to interfere with the election to their favor I would expect Congress to step up and not certify the election and pursue the option of the House/Senate duty in electing President/VP.

Much like Roberts sidestepped his duties, congress would sidestep theirs, too, and more poignantly, I’d suspect they want Hitlery to win. They keep their kingdoms, fiefdoms that way.
