DFL is the Minnesota Democrat party.
Republicans in Minnesota were once known as IR’s, Independent Republicans.
The “independent” was dropped from the name a few years ago.
It was a merger between the Democratic Party and the Farmer Labor Party. The Farmer Labor Party brought over a lot of Communists, who were then driven out by Hubert Humphrey. They’re basaaaaack.
For your information: Ihlan Omar is woman. I think most of the posters here did not actually read the story.
She is apparently married with 4 kids, but a few years ago she is listed as marrying a man who is now identified as her brother. So, that is where the fraud comes in. She was making it possible for him to be here, attending a university and getting welfare support.
I always believed Hubert was not all bad.
