Its another blatant, bald-faced lie. Quite provably.
(((
Don’t worry, I’m sure the cable news people will be all over it.
That was back when women appreciated being treated like ladies by men who tried to protect them from the sordid side of life.
I took the LSAT in June or July 1980. It was as you said; everyone walked into that room tight-lipped and focused. It was the scariest test I ever took, even more than the Bar Exam four years later. I knew I was going to pass the Bar, I was not nearly so sure about the LSAT.
There was no talking and no banter.
Like everything else from Clinton, this story is full of shit.
Since she remembers this incident so well What was her score on the LSAT?
Where did the score fit in with the other applicants to get a law school?
If this is the smartest woman in the world Did she score an 800?
Should all be asking this question of her.
I sat for the LSAT in 1978. Can’t speak for 1969 but things were pretty tense for all of us. No banter. No joking. No harassment. Just nerves.
Hitting on her? Have you seen photos of Her Heinous from this time frame?
Her lies are so transparent....She should have added that the experience caused her, ultimately, to FLUNK the Bar Exam!
She is reaching out to women who will be dumb enough to vote for her only because she is a woman who was mistreated by those vile creatures, MEN!
Bullshit, in it’s purest form, from “Crooked Hillary!”
(and I know Guano when I sees it)
Exactly who believes a word out of her mouth.. I landed under fire....I didn’t break the rules... blah blah blah... she is pathological.
Humans of New York??? WHat the HELL is THAT?
Notice her hair is now covering her ears!!
Didn’t she fail the DC bar exam? And wasn’t her most famous case where she got a violent child rapist off by attacking the child? She’s pure evil.
I also suspect any resentment at that time wasn’t regarding her sex, but rather the unfair preferential treatment given her sex resulting in many more qualified men being sent to Vietnam no matter how qualified they were in the admissions process.
I suspect she spoke loudly to the audience this week because here invisible coaching earbud gave her the perception she had to speak over it to be heard.
This also brings up a problem with Affirmative Action.
It began in regulation by Kennedy's Executive Order in 1961. The minorities who benefited from it, tend not to be grateful for the grace afforded them by its preferential treatment of them due to their sex, race, creed, color, or religion, which violates Equal Opportunity regulations.
Instead, they arrogantly perceive it now as a right to be given preferential treatment and become insulted and offended if anybody suggests they be treated equally with other races, creeds, colors, or belief systems. They simply want more without equality.
There is a much more fundamental element being manifest here in our body politic than “sexism” or any type of bigotry.
It regards the politics of arrogance.
Let’s take a much different example to highlight how the arrogant think.
The Christian model provided in God’s Plan for all humanity masterfully condemns all humans before we are saved, so that arrogance is kept out of heaven for all eternity future.
Consider an elderly lady who every Sunday attends church, Mrs McGillicutty. Every Sunday as she approaches the front of the church, she has to enter the Sanctuary vestibule by opening a set of storefront glass doors, with rather strong door closures, say 40 lb resistance.
It’s a difficult chore for her small frame and weak arms, especially as she is carrying her purse and Bible, and as she is approaching she is trying to remain focused, not upon herself, but upon faith through Christ.
Bob, a strong, virile young college athlete also enters the Church sanctuary about the same time. Observing Mrs McGillicutty slowly approaching the doorway, he quickly advances before her and opens the door for her.
This particular action may be performed physically in the same way, but may be performed spiritually in very different ways, based upon how we are thinking.
If Bob were arrogant, he might be thinking he was going to get a reward someday for performing a good deed, and proudly beams due to his approbation lust, when he is thanked for opening the door.
Conversely, had Bob considered the frailty of Mrs McGillicutty and how his action might make her hurdle less of an adversity, thereby encouraging her to remain in faith in Christ, not being interrupted by worldly or physical challenges, he still would have opened the door, but not considered it a work for pay, but a good work of pure charity, not expecting anything in return other than a loving desire to help his fellow man.
The second way of thinking is selfless and not arrogant. It is the nature of charity.
On the other hand, the same act of charity, might be received in two different fashions. Mrs McGillicutty might remain in fellowship with Christ, receive the grace of the door being opened, and simply thanked strong Bob for being so courteous, allowing her not to be distracted by Adversity. This would be a loving acceptance of grace in a thankful loving fashion.
Conversely, Mrs McGillicutty might be influenced by arrogance, and consider Bob owed her the act of opening the door, because socially it is how good people should behave and as a woman, people should open her door. The arrogant view believes they are due grace and charity simply because of who they are.
Arrogance perceives love, grace, and charity from the perspective that others also are arrogant. When they receive the benefits from others, they believe it is due them, a work deserving payment, or the others are foolish for their actions.
In this article, arrogance becomes manifest in the criticisms leveled by Hillary. She considers the comments she heard while preparing to take her exam to have been sexist and unduly received. If she weren’t arrogant, she would have noted the adversity being placed on those who were being forced by Affirmative Action to give her undeserved favor. Her perception is that the men making the comments were taunting women, instead of feeling empathy for their situation.
This is a good example of how proper living begins with how we think. No matter how many policies or rules are made, unless people exercise faith through Christ, they will fall back into arrogance, becoming the very people they hate.
“were his earlier bomblets little Easter eggs planted early in the campaign that now are opening everywhere on the enemy? What if the change strategy was in fact the strategy all along?”
Wonder why? :)
