The bottom line from the article:

Even manufacturing jobs are going high tech. Apparently we aren't keeping up training people for these jobs. Whose fault is that?

ENERGY INDEPENDENCE and a SECURE, (relatively) LOW COST and long term source of Energy to fuel manufacturing activities are the key to bringing back manufacturing to this country.
