Traditional parties are starting to get nervous about the upcoming Berlin state parliament election as the upstart far-right AfD party has been gaining support.

A poll by broadcaster ARD and research group Infratest dimap released on Thursday evening showed that the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) could gain 15 percent of the vote in the upcoming Berlin state parliament elections set for September 18th.

The AfD’s support in Berlin has been hovering around 15 percent in the Infratest dimap polls since April.

The current reigning Social Democrats (SPD) got just 21 percent in the poll, followed by Chancellor Angela Merkel’s conservative CDU (Christian Democratic Union) on 19 percent. The pro-environmental Greens came in as the third most popular party with 16 percent support. …

The only shock which might occur is a larger turn-out than normal. AfD went and blitzed the Russian-German immigrant community and there’s a minimum of 250,000 such voters in the state. Maybe half would typically come out and vote.....mostly for the Linke Party. So, a majority showed up to vote and they flipped mostly toward the AfD....you’d see very surprised news media.

Last state election for 2016 in Germany.....three more in the spring of 2017.

Consider it long overdue pushback against the far and farther Left.

Liberals tell me that Islamists are “conservative”.

Funny Islamists are theocratic Islamists, they don’t espouse any Western political viewpoint (they are “off spectrum”).

Just because Islamists are restrictive of skin exposure and access to libation and content of music and art does not make them “conservative”. Liberals do this too (smoking bans, prohibition on pinups in the military, prohibition of 10 Commandment monuments and crosses on/near/visible from public ground).

And the Eastern Communists prohibited rock and roll for decades.

Just about all Islamic countries espouse Islamic Socialism. Doesn’t sound “conservative” to me, at least in US context.

Welcome to Bizzaro World, where the “traditional” and “sane” parties are for open borders to let in terrorists who will drain the Welfare system, rape women and impose defacto Dark Ages fascism on the country, and the crazy “far right” wants to close the borders to keep Germany an enlightened, civilized society based on Western values.

If Islamists are “conservative” ask the Left why they vote Democrat then?

The hex-spell of “racist” don’t seem to be working well lately. People are getting more concerned about themselves and their own rather than being called names by the Luegenpresse.

The only shock I have is that it’s not 85%. The vast majority of Germans have still not woken to the reality of the hell-hole that their country is rapidly becoming. They have yet to see the full extent of not only the ISIS plants among the migrants, but the anti-democratic actions of the average migrant. The groping and raping and terrorist attacks have only just begun.
