I’ve never understood how tearing down a person or a group of people is supposed to make you some top dog.
A lazy fisherman torpedoing all the other boats in the harbor does make you the sole source of fish to the townspeople, I guess.

It’s a minefield for men who go to any event involving leftists, which is, like, everything that makes the “news.” If they compliment a skinny, large-breasted young woman who is dressed and made up like a prostitute, they’re “sexist.” If they don’t proposition a plain, no-longer-young woman who is dressed like a man, they’re “sexist.”
Why bother? Do basketball players get a free meal with drinks for coming to this do, or something?
I think she’s an F grade actor.

I watched fifteen minutes of “Girls”. My impression was that they had some 2-star level writers....a few non-actor types....and some idiot producer who was dumped this script to produce something. Generally, there’s no real acting that I noticed.
As for Lena? She has about as much talent as most of the Kadashians. She can’t sing....can’t act....can’t really tell jokes to significant degree.
Aha - but we are not talking about people in their right minds, are we? And yes, millions of stupid women, young, fashionista, soccer momettes, do indeed transpose Tea Leoni with Hillary in the fantasy that substitutes for their minds. You betcha they do!

I went for coffee today in Boston at one of my usual places. With summer ending and fall starting, a new group of barista types has appeared. One waited on me today. Purple hair, nose ring like a bull/cow and many tats. What’s sad is this girl (I guesstimate she’s 22-24) was genuinely pretty with a great body. Without the defacements, we’re talking a solid 8.5-9.

Fuglies like Lena Dunham do it to get attention because no quality man with a modicum of taste would look at them. She wants to pretend she’s a “special snowflake”. It’s a pathetic attempt, but I can see the motivation.
But when a GOOD LOOKING woman does it? The only logical conclusion that I can come up with is that they’re f***ing brain damaged. There’s no other reason; this chick would 100% turn heads walking down a street.
I don’t get why anyone gets tatted up (or pierced up, which is worse). My male cousin is heavily tatted, his GF just had a baby, I saw the pictures, she looks normal, the baby, his parents, and then there’s him with a huge spiderweb or some **it on his neck, it made him look out place like a little boy playing at being a grown-up. And he’s a good looking kid, he’s done some male modeling (for what I don’t know with those tats, Punk Rock Digest?). I know my uncle hates it.
It makes women look slutty/trashy, which may do something for average or below average looking women looking to attract douchebags. For a truly beautiful woman though they do nothing but mar God’s artistry.

It’s puerile really, let some dude draw on you with a needle. People started doing it because people have attempted to do every stupid thing that can possibly be imagined, and they keep doing it because they see other people doing it. Humans are dumb animals.
As for Dunham, she’s a sick person, read the nasty stuffy she wrote about her sister, it can’t be repeated here. And you might remembered how she falsely claimed to have been raped by a “college Republican”.
She probably has extremely low self-esteem to produce her bizarre brand of narcissism.

A bad haircut grows out. A hole for a piercing closes up. Tattoos? Like Herpes - sticks around forever, especially the gigantic ones. Even getting them erased still leaves skin ruined forever.

One of the biggest regrets in life my uncle, a Korean War veteran, has is the couple small tats he got while he was an 18 year old back then. That’s all the persuasion I ever needed to never get “inked”.
Ultimately, individuals can do what you want with their bodies. That’s their right. I also have the right to think they’re f***ing idiotic lowlifes for getting “inked”.
I’ve seen a few tattoo removal places opening up either close to, or next door to, tattoo parlors. That’s hilarious! Might as well get paid twice, right?
