Very true. The depth and breadth of this depravity is totally unimagined by most, even here at FR. Some even think the election of one individual will end the rigged system. Just as so many thought that the fall of the USSR would end communism.
When a country’s chief law enforcement official reveals himself to be nothing more than a common criminal as did our FBI Director, James Comey, the people then know their Democracy is dead and a Thugocracy prevails. Our Federal Government is now nothing more than a criminal enterprise and there’s very little we, the people, can do about it.
The wife and I will go down on election day and cast our vote for Donald Trump, but there will be, as usual, an unknown number of dead people in front and behind us to cancel out our votes many times over.
As the American people continue to live out the old Chinese curse, “May you live in interesting times.”
We need to watch more than just the single top office.
Here in GA watch the Chamber of Commerce push to expand Medicaid. The pro-expansion voices are many and totally uninformed.
The anti-expansion forces are few and some of them are also uninformed.
