German economic growth will nearly halve in 2017 as Brexit and other risks hit exporters, the DIW institute said on Thursday, although it predicted a pick up to 1.9 percent this year due to strong domestic demand.
The subdued outlook followed a string of economic data which painted a bleak picture for German manufacturing, with industrial orders barely rising in July and output posting its steepest drop in nearly two years.

Britain’s intelligent voters saved their country by voting to get off the sinking EU ship, bless them. None of the “experts” who predicted Britain’s demise were right, but they are still hopeful it will happen.
Bring in hordes of parasites who have no issues about raping children and women, but resent the idea of working; then lose a huge source of revenue, and it’s truly amazing what can happen.
Golly, if only this calamity could have been foreseen and predicted < /sarcasm, screaming hysterical sarcasm>
This is globalist bullsh$t. If Britons need to be a German widget, they will.
No, no, no! You’ve got it all wrong. It is the UK who is supposed to suffer...not the EU. LOL!
Merkel is so wedded to globalism that she’d rather watch the little people face a recession than accept fair trade between the EU and the UK. The cost of fair trade is too high, for her, if she loses control over the lives of British citizens. That is similar to her attitude toward immigrants, where she’s okay with anything they do to the German people as long as she rules over all of them.
Modern liberalism/socialism is about power for the elite, not what’s good for the people. Socialism has not changed since socialists first seized power over Germany in 1933.
Why will German Trade with the Brits be reduced by Brexit?
Will the Brits go elsewhere for German cars and chemicals and Siemens stuff?
Merkel: "Not me!"
Must be Brexit. And Emmanuel Goldstein.
