Where Is A Nobel Peace Prize Winner When You Need One?
Trump Conservative ^ | 7/17/2016 | Rufus Shinra

With the level of violence the world has experienced in the past year alone, we need a leader of the free world, and Nobel Peace Prize winner, to help lead the people into an age of prosperity. We need a leader who is in charge for a full 8 years and who can implement policies to help reshape the Western world into a land of opportunity. This leader should have a degree in Constitutional Law, a background in community organization and a focus on integrating countries while breaking down borders.

Wait...that's exactly what we've had for the past 8 years in America and yet the world is more dangerous, and people more divided than they have been in decades. So after 8 years under a Nobel Peace Prize winner, why aren't we living in peace and enjoying a prosperous society?

Barack Obama is a winner of the Nobel Peace Prize after all, less than a year after becoming president while achieving nothing to actually deserve it, so I'm wondering why after 8 years of his presidency the world isn't a reflection of peace and love by now? Or at very least, why isn't the world even slightly less dangerous than it was before Obama's reign of hope and change?

The country, and the world, praised America for electing such a visionary president in a historic victory. Celebrities, politicians and voters all felt that they now had a president who would lead their country into a new age of prosperity. Barack Obama toured the world on behalf of America, apologizing for all the bad things we supposedly did before he became our leader. He promised hope and change...and he delivered on the change part at least, but not for the better.

Let's take a look at just a sampling of the major world events in the past year, which have no end in sight and actually seem to be accelerating:

And of course we have Obama's crown jewel of chaos that gave rise to ISIS, the refugee crisis and the loss of countless lives as a result:

Civil War in Syria Breaks Out, March 2011 - Estimated 470,000 dead.

And these are only the major atrocities in the past 12 months, I could spend weeks listing the various other destabilizing events that are happening around the world.

Let's take a look at how different the commercial hub of Syria looks after a civil war start to oust Assad, their democratically elected leader, all in the name of an oil pipeline from Qatar.

syria-war-before-and-after

These aren't the types of headlines I would expect to see at such frequency with a Nobel Peace Prize winner occupying the office of the most powerful nation in the Western world. After years of Obama's leadership, I was expecting to see headlines such as, "World Hunger Drastically Reduced," or "Race Relations Better Than Ever."

No, instead it seems the world is descending into chaos, discord and hate at an alarming rate.

During the 2008 presidential elections we were repeatedly promised a new age of leadership, a focus on equality, job growth and financial freedom for all our citizens. We were told that America will have better relations with other countries and would end the war in the Middle East. We were told hope and change was coming, and to get ready for a peaceful new world.

The only changes that have taken place are the worst race relations in over 40 years, mass illegal immigration and the spread of radical Islamic terrorism.

Barack Obama even promised us "the most transparent administration in American history," but under his rule the Whitehouse has set a record for denying the most amount of Freedom of Information Act requests under a single administration. In fact, the Obama Whitehouse has turned into one of the most closed, control freak administration that journalists have ever covered, often times following carefully scripted questions during press events.

There is no peace, no new ideas and no revolutionary new system of leadership. The American people were fed a mass marketing campaign during the 2008/2012 elections in order to sell them on a fantasy that did not exist.

Here is the only proof I need to give to illustrate the amount of dissatisfaction the American people feel for our current level of government:

Donald Trump received a record amount of Republican primary votes and is now the presidential nominee.

Why does Donald Trump reflect the state of our nation and people's dissatisfaction with it so accurately? Because prior to this election, no one who has made the controversial, inflammatory comments that Donald Trump has made would ever get within a mile of being a presidential candidate. Despite the entire mainstream media, Democratic party and even parts of his own Republican party being against him, Donald Trump has still prevailed and inspired millions to have REAL hope for the future of America.

Some people think Trump is just putting on an act, trying to get people to believe in him so he could gain support enough for the presidential election. If everything he's said is just an act, then whoever made it up would have to be insane, because no serious candidate in their right mind would have talked about building a wall on our border on the very day he announced his candidacy.

If you are thinking about voting for Hillary Clinton, first know that every word she says in public is from a carefully constructed script, designed by expert speech writers and based on internal polling results and focus groups. You are watching nothing more than an actor on the stage, same as you would during a Broadway play, watching them play a part that in no way reflects who they really are or how they really think. That's what you got with Barack Obama, and you will get much worse with Hillary Clinton.

On the other side of the coin, if you're thinking about voting for a third party such as Gary Johnson or Jill Stein, know that you are giving half a vote to Hillary Clinton and you are helping her win the presidential election.

Before you vote for a third party, say out loud, "I am helping get Hillary Clinton elected as president of the United States."

If you don't have a feeling of guilt and disappointment after saying that statement out loud, then you need to do more research on the corruption of the Clinton cartel. You will be voting for more of the destruction and chaos that Obama has wrought upon the world.

Do you truly want to say that you voted for a third party in the most important election of our generation, just because you didn't like some of the words that Donald Trump spoke? Personally, I could never bare telling my children that I helped get a corrupt bureaucrat elected to the highest office in our country, just because I wanted to "vote my conscious."

How do you know Donald Trump is speaking from his own beliefs and not just putting on an act?

Because no political candidate in their right mind would dare speak the controversial remarks that he has in public if they wanted any chance of getting elected. Regardless of what you think of Donald Trump's policies, or some of the phrases he has said that you don't agree with, you should at least be able to appreciate his honesty in a political world that is designed as a targeted marketing campaign, advertising exceptional results that the nation, in reality, will not receive.

Electing, and re-electing, a Nobel Peace Prize winning president of the United States certainly hasn't made the world more peaceful. In fact, it only seems to have only damaged race relations, given rise to a violent radical Islamic terrorist group and thrown our country's borders wide open.

The definition of insanity is repeating the same actions and expecting different results. So if you are concerned with the direction our country, and the world, is moving in then maybe it's time to do something different. Actually, you would think we should elect a president that is so far opposite of what Obama believes that the end results can only get better. If we as a nation elect Hillary Clinton, who was a part of Obama administration anyways, we will get more of the same results, if not drastically worse.

A nation's leaders are only a reflection of the health of the nation itself, and its citizens. If we do not unite and elect a leader who legitimately cares about America and its people, we will be doomed to continue down this path of violence, destruction and despair.

I know almost everyone here is well aware of the failings of the Obama administration, but this also illustrates the importance of not voting for third party in this election, as it only helps Hillary Clinton, and I know there are still a lot of people out there who claim to be "voting their conscious" and refuse to pull the lever for Trump.

A vote for a third party, is a half a vote for Hillary Clinton and the corruption that she will bring to our nation, which can be great again if we unite behind a leader who puts the people before politics.

You know, the headline alone made me laugh and reminded me just how the entire world and media has conveniently forgotten that this failure of a President truly wasn’t worthy of that prize...

Who woulda thunk it!!!!

The Nobel Peace Prize has lost much of its cache with awards to people like Barack Obama, Al Gore and Yasir Arafat.

The Feckless Fool On The Hill isn’t worthy of being “a feckless fool on a hill.”

Nobel Peace Prize is about as profound as Whore of the Year, or perhaps Adult Film Star of the Year.

Whatever prestige it had, has been wasted by giving it to undeserving people who epitomized the exact opposite of what this awared was supposed to represent. For example, Yassir Arafat, who was a terrorist. A man who was celebrated for the wholesale slaughter of innocents - given a Peace Prize? This is like giving Hugh Hefner a prize on Celebacy - it made a mockery of the entire award.

Giving the award to Obama, for being elected President - for the things he was GOING to accomplish? This is like giving an Olympic award to a competitor before the race has even started, you have made a mockery of the entire award.

The respect that the Nobel Peace Prize is gone.

Very well said Rufus.

This is not the election where feckless voters can vote "their conscious" and expect all to be well after 4 more years of assault on the American way of life. That 4 years from now, the people will be ready for a "true conservative". Whatever that really is. In my opinion it sure as heck was not Ted Cruz, regardless what Mark Levin still thinks to this day.

Thank you, I hope the people who are thinking of voting for a 3rd party come to their senses by November and realize they are only helping Hillary.

I saw a poll that had Gary Johnson at 10%. If half of those voters go for Trump, then he wins easily.
